Hi, I'm María.
I've been tattooing since 2016 — a journey that has taken my art across Europe, Asia, and the Americas. Along the way, my work has been recognized with awards at international conventions in the U.S., Italy, Spain, Switzerland, and China.
In 2022, I moved to New York City to push my craft further, among the world's top talent.
Key Milestones:
Jury Member — Judged at 7+ international conventions
Educator — Reached 3,000+ students through 3 online courses
Founder — Co-founded Lumbre Studios & Lumbre Academy in Spain (2024)
Detailed, micro-realistic compositions designed for those who value exclusivity, custom art, and timeless quality on their skin.
Specialized micro-realism that goes beyond a simple likeness, capturing the unique expression, gaze, and soul of your companion.
"I choose to take on fewer projects so I can dedicate absolute focus to each design."
For me, tattooing is a shared creative journey with no rushed timelines—just deep collaboration, meticulous planning, and a calm, deliberate session structure designed to care for both body and mind.
TESTIMONIAL
"The attention to detail is unmatched"
"I feel more like myself now"

"María is a visionary artist. I gave her a rough, abstract concept, and she transformed it into a breathtaking, custom masterpiece. She listens, understands your vision, and creates pure art."

"The way María interprets ideas is on another level. She took my personal story and turned it into an elegant, timeless piece of art that exceeded all my expectations."
That first contact is essential. It's not a formal meeting — it's an open conversation where we define ideas, explore possibilities, and refine the overall direction of the piece. We'll talk through the flow of the tattoo on your body, the likely number of sessions, and the first steps to building something meaningful together. If your project aligns with my artistic approach, we'll book your consultation directly through my calendar.
We begin at noon in the studio. First, we adjust proportions and place the design on the skin. When everything flows naturally, we start. During the session, we pause to eat, hydrate, and recharge. I don't like to rush — I enjoy the process. I work gently, with a technique that's respectful to the skin. There will be some discomfort working with needles, but nothing unbearable, and it's always worth it.
The design process is both complex and simple at once — it hinges on understanding the tattoo's idea and intent. The more information you provide, the clearer the expectations for the final design, which is shown only to you and never sent more than 24 hours in advance. For projects requiring several sessions, timing is discussed in advance so there's no doubt. A tattoo isn't a mathematical process — everyone's skin heals differently, so I'm always upfront when timing may vary.
There are no fixed prices by style, placement, or size. Every project is quoted individually based on the number of sessions it requires.
Yes — it's free and comes with no obligation. It simply opens the door to a real conversation.
Send me your tattoo idea and where on your body you'd like it. From there, we'll shape it together into a design.
Email responses are usually sent within 24–48 hours.
Once we both decide to move forward, your date is secured with a 30% deposit (plus tax).
No, deposits are non-refundable.
Yes, with at least 7 days' notice. Changes made with less than 7 days' notice require a new deposit.
The remaining balance is paid at the end of each session. Both card and cash are accepted; card payments include a 3% processing fee.
Large-scale projects must be completed within 12 months, to ensure consistency of style, technique, and color across all sessions.
Normally, no. I recommend coming alone — I need concentration to work, and having someone else there for several hours can be distracting for both of us. They're welcome to join you on the way in or wait outside during breaks, but it's best to be alone during the tattooing itself.
